River Avenue Co-op Day Nursery

We aim to give our kids the tools to act in the world as individuals who are aware of society's demands and qualified for positive participation in all spaces, taking care of themselves and their surroundings, and consequently expanding the frontiers of personal and collective development.

RADC PHILOSOPHY

We believe in the development of the whole child, providing for the child’s basic needs: intellectual, social, physical, and emotional. We feel that good nutritional habits must be developed and practiced for children to develop to their full potential.

We also feel that there must be an atmosphere of consistency, warmth, and patience in order for a unique, whole individual to emerge. We believe that parents and early childhood educators need to work consistently as a team in order to respond to the changing needs of the children.

OUR PROGRAMS

Hours of Operation

The Centre is open from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

DAY PROGRAM​

The Day program runs from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Children in the Day Program must be picked up by 5:30 pm.

EVENING CARE PROGRAM

The Evening Program runs from 2:00pm to 9:30 pm.

Use of the Evening Care Program is limited to working parents or students in evening classes or programs.

Children in the Evening Program may not arrive before 2:00 pm.
